What can we learn from birds when it rains?

A bird spends their day free.

They can fly wherever they want.

They spend their days outside looking for food,
playing with other birds,
And most enjoyably, they spend time singing.

When it rains, a bird has nowhere to hide.
It has no shelter.

There is no basis for it to survive under extreme weather,
but birds still survive.

How?

A bird has learned that most security is temporary.
At any moment its home can be taken away by rainfall or a swift gust of wind.

What happens when their home is taken away?
Does a bird give up?

No they don’t.

Birds keep flying,
they keep looking,
they don’t stop until they find security again.
And then what happens?

They wait out the storm, for they know it will pass.

Once the storm is done what happens to a bird?

Their voices are louder,
more beautiful,
And they sing more frequently than they did before.

Storms will come and go for birds.
Security will come and go for birds.

But a bird never loses its voice,
And a bird never stops appreciating singing.
